NBC4 Columbus — As Ohio State awaits its new president, the man holding the position temporarily also has tasks ahead of him. The university’s board of trustees picked Dr. Peter Mohler, executive vice president for research, innovation and knowledge, as the school’s acting president. He spoke one-on-one with NBC4 anchor Jerod Smalley.
“The Nobel Prize is the pinnacle of scientific achievement,” said Acting Ohio State President Peter Mohler. “All of us at Ohio State celebrate this recognition of Pierre’s lifetime of research and scholarship.”
The Ohio State University is enhancing safety and security resources on and around the Columbus campus. These enhancements, led by Acting President Peter Mohler, are part of the university’s ongoing, holistic review of safety for students, faculty and staff.
