I write to provide the latest update on the independent sexual misconduct investigation of former university employee Dr. Richard Strauss, who died in 2005.

As you may be aware, the university convened a task force in the spring to review suicide prevention efforts and mental health support services.

You have undoubtedly seen reports of various aspects of the investigation regarding the late Dr. Richard Strauss during his time as a university employee in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Below is an additional update on the ongoing investigation.
