In an op-ed for the Dayton Daily News, President Bellamkonda highlighted the role that leading universities – including Ohio State – are playing in the American manufacturing renaissance through academic excellence, cutting-edge research and industry partnerships.

In his first State of the University address, President Bellamkonda encouraged the university community to embrace Ohio State’s scope and scale as it works to become the nation’s finest public university.

Joined by other senior leaders along with academic, athletic and community representatives, President Bellamkonda welcomed first-year students to Ohio State at the university’s annual Convocation ceremony, promising them an extraordinary experience as they begin their journeys as Buckeyes.
