Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

Today, our campus community experienced a violent and frightening act. Ohio State University Police and local law enforcement continue to investigate, and additional information will be posted as it becomes available to We wish those injured a speedy and complete recovery; and our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.

Days such as these test our spirit as Buckeyes — but together we remain unified in the face of adversity. I encourage anyone in our community in need of assistance to utilize the university's resources. Student Life's Counseling and Consultation Service and Ohio State's faculty and staff Employee Assistance Program (EAP) are providing emergency support at the locations below.

For students:
