Ohio State is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the governor and benefits from the expertise of senior administrators, faculty, students and staff from across the university.

Board of Trustees

A board of governor-appointed trustees who are responsible for the oversight of academic programs, budgets and general administration, and the employment of faculty and staff.

President’s Cabinet

Shared Governance

Faculty, students and staff come together with administrators to help Ohio State function as a unified institution and to develop and advise on solutions for issues facing the university.

Advisory Councils

The President and Provost’s Council on Women and the President’s and Provost’s Advisory Committee provide university leaders critical insight on how to enhance Ohio State’s excellence and ensure the university supports the success of all of its people.
